We have all been through various stages, are going through many at present and will continue going through many more.
Who would not love to drive through six lane roads where speeds are not restricted? Some of us love the hilly roads, snake bends and bumpy rides though we hate traffic as it does irritate us but never scares us of the journey. Tunnels – they too are loved by many. A sudden darkness for few minutes and then flash of daylight in the end. But life sometimes makes us enter tunnels where the end is not seen and even the headlights are not trustworthy. This is the ride, every one of us dreads.
The voids of life, we can call them so, when the journey is totally uncertain putting us on the crater of a dormant volcano which can erupt the next moment or just let the surface flourish keeping cool forever. Meditating on such a crater would be the toughest task and shivering, tethering and hallucinating is absolutely humane.
Being in such a void, switches on the super sensitive mood in us where any statement, any song, any story or any exactly similar or completely opposite instance will leave long-lasting impression on our minds. It will inject the virus that would rupture our self-confidence. The weak ones fall in the trap soon but the rest of us cling onto the little hopes and helps. No doubt, our this state has served bread and butter to the writers of self-help books, have earned fortunes to happy-go-lucky-movie makers and musicians. It has opened spas, hobby clubs, sports arena and pubs and discotheques in every possible corner where humanity exists with its so many complexities.
But will all these things serve as chicken soups for all those struggling and blindfoldedly fighting souls? I fear not because when you are fighting a mortared brick wall, all you concentrate on is the rigidness of the wall, the paining hands, sore wounds and not on the slowly weakening foundation of the wall. Newton when said “every action has equal and opposite reaction to it”, he didn’t restrict it just to science.
So should we keep banging our heads against such walls, crying on every failure and still holding on to diminishing hopes? This question fuels all the rage and aggravates all the negative emotion inside. It grows so big that we can promise life long slavery to someone who answers the question for us. The one who answers it for us is the one who answers every intricate question in world – TIME.
TIME - if personified, is like that honest policeman who cannot be bribed to be manipulated according to our needs. It is like that punctual employee of any company who would not step in before time and steps out dot at time. It is like that dog owner, who would have all the fun watching his dog go round and round chasing its tail but will give the bone only when he feels the time is right.
Solutions to many problems in life and answer to many questions in life is often TIME and all we should do is wait for it and let it pass at the same time, keeping the destination in the back of our mind while exploring all the paths life unfolds to us.
