GROWTH

Has anyone noticed that when we are growing physically, we never realize or notice our mental growth. In school and college we never thought that we were growing mentally as growing then meant reaching higher grades or next level of studies.
Once the external growth slows down, we start noticing our internal growth and at some point we start monitoring and regulating our mental growth. We don't set up benchmarks in the very beginning and try to achieve them, we find benchmarks while the journey, reach there and then stop, look back and analyze our growth. This certainly doesn't stand true for those who are busy making money and don't care about personal evolvement as a son, daughter, father, mother, spouse, friend, a social human being as for them the material growth seems rather more important.
But in the end, when they look back and find that many mistakes that they repeatedly made, could have been avoided and all that they lost in material gain could have been changed or regained, didn't happen as they didn't give themselves the evaluation voids.
So just don't live for living but live to improvise, live for betterment and live such that on your death bed you lay with satisfaction on your face.
